About Defiant... Defiant is over 50 years old and still racing 3 days a week. One of the smaller contenders in Mackinac at 27 ft has almost enough Macs under her belt to be an Old Goat herself. Defiant took a 2nd overall in the Cove island course in 1972 when she still had an inboard motor. She later took 3rd overall in 1994 in the Shore course. There are enough flags won on this boat to cover a football field.
