I will be sailing "Desilou" sail number of 1821. She was formerly known as Split Decision out of Chicago Yacht Club that raced in several Chicago to Mackinac races. Desilou sailed in the 2022 and 2024 Bayview to Mac race and the 2023 Chicago to Mac race, I consider myself new to Great Lakes sailing. I and two of our crew members originate from California and competed in several blue water sailing races that include Transpacific Races and Newport Beach to Ensenada. We have been joined by several longtime competitive great sailors from Cleveland area.
