About Avenger...
The J105 AVENGER was donated to the US Naval Academy by Nick Brown, who's family home Harbor Court in Newport, RI, is now owned by the New York Yacht Club. This is the second Bayview Mackinac Race for the US Naval Academy, and the first by this crew of midshipmen lead by Midn' 1/c Patrick Fisher from Sheboygan, WI Note of interest: The US Naval Academy Sailing program has supplied the US Navy with the largest number of flag officers to the US Navy than any other sports team at USNA.
