About Blue Moves...
Blue Moves has done some single-handed distance racing, but this will be her first Mackinac race, sailing as a double-hander. It will be her owner's first Mackinac race since HS/college days many years ago. Blue Moves is named after her owner's favorite Elton John album, released in 1976, has Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word, among other great songs. The lettering on the transom matches the design on the album cover. Owner thought some fellow sailors, perhaps another Elton John fan, might make the connection, but this has yet to happen. Oh well...
