About McQueen ...
The good ship McQueen has been racing Doublehanded on the Great lakes the past 3 years. She’s a 2014 J/88 ….a wonderful and fun vessel to sail. She’s a quick one also…3 Chi-Mac’s,(1st, 2nd & 3rd), 2 Queens Cup(1st&3rd), two Trippe Cups(1st &1st). This will the first race for McQueen in the Bayview and we are very excited that its is the 100th.. The rich boat owner is Justin Acker from Leland Mi. and his faithful deckhand is Ted Lockwood also from Leland Mi. Justin is the young pup and eye candy on board(the older woman love him) and Ted is the geriatric on board, just trying to stay above ground and avoid the Grim Reaper. Saturday morning, we will be ready to rip. Keep an eye out for McQueen. She will be hard charging up the pond.
