About Wing Jammer...
Wing Jammer is sailing it's first Mackinac race. It is being crewed with all North Cape Yacht Club members from the Toledo, Ohio area. This will be the first Mac race for the owner/skipper but several crew members have competed in Bayview Mac and Chicago Mac races. The name Wing Jammer is a tribute to the aircraft technicians that keep aircraft flying around the world. The owner/skipper has been an A&P Technician for over 50 years. The correlation between aerodynamics and hydrodynamics makes flying and sailing very similar. Wing Jammer and crew will be using all their flying and sailing skills on the way to Mackinac Island.
