About Temeraire... I first started sailing with my Dad on our Pilot 33 Balquihidder out of Bayview YC and then Windsor YC back in late 60's. He completed 4 or 5 Mac's in the boat but I was not able to go with him a that time. Now I will be sailing my first Bayview Mackinac race in my J/105 "Temeraire". We are based on Lake Hartwell, on the border between Georgia and South Carolina. Over the past two years, we have trailered the boat to two Charleston Race Weeks and to the North American Championships in Rye NY. Both my brother and my daughter will be part of the crew along with the core of my SC based team. I will be doing the race in memory of my father who instilled in both my brother and me a life-long love of sailing and respect for Lake Huron.
