About Rascal... Rascal, a 1998 Catalina 34 from the Mackinac Island Yacht Club (MIYC) is being crewed by the first ever all Mackinac Island Crew. Jason St. Onge, the island's fire chief and owner of the Cannonball Oasis came up with the idea and enlisted the support of Bart Huthwaite, Jr. a longtime island cottager and current Treasurer of the MIYC, Andrew Doud, Owner of Doud's Market and other family-owned businesses, Mike Gidley, a past Commodore of the MIYC, Mike Hegarty the current Rear Commodore of the MIYC and Bart's son Chaz Huthwaite. This will be the first race for half of the crew and while they don't have any illusions of grandeur in terms of their place, they're sure to have the support of the entire island.
