About Marisia... Marisia is a 1972 Allied Seabreeze 35, built in Catskill, NY, hull number 134 of 135 total constructed between 1963 and 1972. A true blue-water boat with a full keel, mizzen mast, and very sturdy build, along with a beautiful/classic design, by MacLear & Harris. Owner Patrick McKeever had admired her in the Crescent Sail Yacht Club harbor for many years and asked the prior owners several years ago to please let him know if they ever decided to sell her. After getting a heads-up mid-summer last year on a planned listing, Patrick mobilized quickly, sold his Pearson 30 -- in which he and crew placed 2nd in the Doublehanded Class in the 100th BYC-Mack in 2024 -- and bought Marisia in September 2024. While Marisia can be a little tricky (competitively) upwind with the full keel, she reaches beautifully, especially with an asymmetrical spinnaker and mizzen staysail flying...
