| About Valor... |
Formerly named Stripes, Valor sailed over 30 Mackinac races under its previous owner, Bill Martin. Now co-owned by Michael Kiss and Marc Hollerbach, Valor hopes to follow up that tradition by bringing together a highly experienced crew and a superbly prepared boat. Michael Kiss is a renowned small boat sailor with multiple national championships to his name. In addition to sailing in offshore races around the world, Marc Hollerbach has sailed in over 100 Mackinac races combined. They have brought together a crew consisting largely of family and close friends, including Bayview Old Goats, some young talent and a collegiate All-American.
