About Golden Child... Golden Child is a Nelson Marek 50 that was originally sailed out of Chicago and moved around from LA to Cleveland. It was brought back around to Holland, MI where the crew has been working to get it race ready. Onboard, we have a few Chi-Mac goats Todd Seuss and Mike Bradley, 2 away from his Port Huron Goat Status. The rest of the crew is just here for his meals but have participated in dozens and dozens of Mac Races. A lot of the crew were also taught and taken under the wing from the late Guy Hiestand. This race is especially important to a lot of us to remember Guy and keep his memories and spirit along with us for the ride.
